Business Management

Business Management students acquire the knowledge and skills that are necessary for working in various business and non-profit sectors, within an environment that fosters Orthodox values. Hellenic College offers one of the few business programs that cultivate competencies in both management and leadership. Each student designs a year-long business internship with his or her site supervisor and academic advisor, developing self-knowledge while building a network of business contacts.

Liberal Studies

The mission of the Liberal Studies major is to provide students with the opportunity to respond to their unique vocations and pursue their own personal development in Christ. Liberal Studies is principally designed to provide an avenue for transfer students who wish to build upon their study elsewhere within the special spiritual and community atmosphere of Hellenic College, but whose earned academic credit does not match with existing Hellenic College majors.

Psychology and Human Development majors cultivate an understanding of the biological, psychological, spiritual, and sociocultural development of the human being. This interdisciplinary program studies development from infancy, childhood, and adolescence to adulthood. Psychology and Human Development core and elective courses prepare students for a variety of careers or further study. The Psych and Human Development program encourages each individual to pursue different topics and to broaden their horizons. THE FOUR DOMAINS OF LEARNING AT HELLENIC COLLEGE

The requirements of each major, combined with the general education requirements and various co‐curricular activities, offer learning opportunities in four designated domains.

KNOWLEDGE

Gain broad knowledge of the wider world by surveying the various disciplines of the arts and sciences. Develop strong and transferable intellectual and practical skills, as well as analytical and problem‐solving strategies in order to become active citizens in the world.
Faith

Learn to articulate the teachings of the Orthodox Christian faith. Evaluate, incorporate, and synthesize those teachings into your own world view. Reflect on how those teachings could impact your vocational choices. Participate in the worship and spiritual life of the Church and apply your education to serve the Church and society with love and discernment.
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

Acquire competence in a specific field of study and the practical skills to enter your professional lives. Demonstrate personal integrity, effectiveness in defining and attaining goals, and a collaborative spirit in all endeavors.
SERVICE

Gain the understanding that engagement is a relationship of equals, that you engage with others from a place of wholeness and a desire to connect with the wholeness in others.
